Anthony C. Faber, PhD

Dr. Faber is co-leader of the Developmental Therapeutics Program at VCU Massey Cancer Center and Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, in Richmond, VA.
Dr. Faber’s laboratory research program is largely centered on developing targeted therapies in different cancer paradigms, where there are no targeted therapy options. There is an emphasis in pediatric cancers, particularly neuroblastoma and sarcomas.
Dr. Faber earned his M.A. at Boston University and his Ph.D. at Boston College. He trained under Dr. Jeff Engelman at Harvard Medical School/Massachusetts General Hospital prior to his appointment at VCU.
